Here is some good news for those of us who love the ROAST BEEF dinners at the Christ Our Savior Orthodox Church. They will be serving these favorite meals today starting at 11 this morning until 1:30 this afternoon. You can enjoy the great hospitality of the folks of the church by eating in their wonderful dining room – or you may take the food home to share with a friend. That’s today, under the golden dome – 6 miles east of Indiana on Rt 286.
The new principal at the Seeds of Faith Christian Academy extends the invitation to all of our listeners to visit the school – in advance of the start of this school year. Mark Hitchcock advises us that the school children in the county will be blessed next Saturday, August 22, when they register to attend a “back to school BASH” – that will take place all along Church Street between Sixth and Seventh Streets. Coming to the Indiana Church of the Brethren -- will be IMPACT…a program of Christ Centered Youth Drug Prevention. This program will be conducted by Bill James a former narcotics agent –and it will begin at 7 p.m. on Sat, Aug 29 Pastor Bill Frey extends the invitation to young people and adults from all around Indiana County. This church is located across Rt 286 from the Rustic Lodge.
